Internships At Graphic Controls
In our commitment to the professional development of others, Graphic Controls offers various internship opportunities across all departments for students and upcoming professionals. We strive to provide our interns with a quality learning environment in order to help them acquire and develop the skills necessary for future job placement and advancement.
About our internships:
Unlike many internship programs, interns at Graphic Controls are given the opportunity to work on real tasks that will impact the business and allow the student to apply knowledge and concepts acquired during their education. Each intern is assigned a department and Manager. The reporting Manager is responsible for working with the intern to assign tasks and ensuring those tasks are completed in a satisfactory manner.
Graphic Controls interns are typically paid and arrangements may be made with the educational institution to receive course credits for time spent at Graphic Controls. Internships at Graphic Controls typically take place in the summer, however other options may be available based on need and by request. The time period usually lasts a minimum of 12 weeks.
Qualifications and Expectations:
We are looking for motivated and well rounded students who are currently enrolled full time in a college or university. Eligible candidates must have at least a 3.0 GPA, and be entering their Junior or Senior Year of study.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, previous intern experience and an interest/educational background in the chosen area of the business. Candidates should also have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
Although not considered an employee of Graphic Controls, a student intern shares many expectations with that of Company employees, including:
- Adhering to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
- Adhering to company policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of confidential information.
- Assuming personal and professional responsibilities for his/her actions and activities.
